Haul Out Team Member

About the Job
The Willis Custom Yachts haul out team member is responsible for tasks related to the hauling, blocking and launching of boats. The position requires basic understanding of boat hull construction and load points.
Qualifications:
Boat hauling experience preferred.
Marine Travel Lift operations is a plus.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Ability to work from 7:00 to 3:30 at a minimum.
Strong communication skills.
Spanish speaking is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Responsible assisting hauling and hauling of vessels.
Positions and secures boat blocks and stands at bottom and sides of vessels according to length, beam, and weight distribution of vessels.
Handles lines to secure or release vessels.
Pressure washes boats after haul outs and scrapes bottom when required.
Organizes and manages hauling supplies.
Follows company standard operating procedures for hauling, blocking and launching vessels.
Follows safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean work area.
Performs other related duties as necessary and assigned.
Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on equipment.
Maintains awareness of and consistently practices safe work habits.
Performs heavy lifting and carrying during job process.
Lift and/or move at least 50lbs.
Work in outdoor conditions.
